"Bush Doesn't Care About Black People;" Acting out

Kanye West is no stranger to speaking his mind, whether he's fighting for a cause, or just sharing his personal feelings. West believes that he's right most of the time, and he's not afraid to state his opinion. While the way he spreads his message may not always be conventional, he's stating his opinion, and trying to share his message with the world; he's basically preaching. And while his style is a little different fromHere are some examples of West spreading his beliefs in some of the worst ways possible.

West was trying to bring attention to the way black Americans were being potrayed negatively in the media, however through not thinking and speaking offhand West went on to insult President George W. Bush. And his message was forgotten.

West again trying to stand up for something he believed in, however in the wrong place at the wrong time. A prophet is not always held in high esteem. In the time of Christ, Jesus himself was forced to preach in secret. So perhaps one day people will look at these misguided events as the beginnings og something new.

This acceptance speech was a milestone in Kanye West's Philosophy. In which he tried to rationalize many of his actions. And while somewhat confusing at times, ultimatly shows West's desire to protect and believe in the art. Calling it a "New Mentality" he preaches a world in which we teach our kids they can be something. This command for a change in societal norms to get to a new state of being is strong.
